I've had the black version of this laptop for a few years. There is no padding on the bottom and since my MBP 15 inch can't fit in the laptop sleeve, theres times when I "thud" my backpack on the ground due to no padding.

Wow, really exposes how much of a markup the name pulls. I almost pulled the trigger thinking that I was getting a quality backpack for cheap due to it being a deep discount final sale price but it looks like it's their 'budget' line which appear to use the same materials and components as any other cheap backpack. Seems like it's worth the $30 but not more than that.

Great deal. Bought mine at Marshall's for $40 a couple of years ago. Best feature are the handles at the top; makes it really easy and comfortable to hold. Least favorite thing is the bungee cord, one of the ends popped out when I was tightening it down and there's no way to access the holes to retie a bigger knot from inside unless you cut it. Other than that, great bag for daily commute to work and for the plane too
