Ended up getting a 9 pro xl with 256gb for $150 plus tax w/ 8 pro trade in. I had decided to keep my 8 Pro till the pixel 10 came out with the tsmc processor. However, I figured for $200 after tax it was worth it for the upgraded phone value (9 pro xl is worth more than 8 pro and should be for a couple of years) and a year of use of the pixel 9 pro (hopefully the overheating is better).
