After doing the $5 sub I didn't see the Skip to Gold under my rewards but it was located on my main page of the Play Store app. Here is a screenshot of what to look for if you can't find it: https://imgur.com/a/iPHD9kR

Once I skipped to gold, the 30% off coupon showed up under Perks when you look at your Play Points by clicking the blue point total on the top of the main page https://imgur.com/a/DKZNsyg

Subscribed to Google pay pass to upgrade from bronze to gold status, went into the offers tab and the 30% off was there instantly.

Was able to get a P9P XL for $275 after P7P trade in.

$380 after taxes off ebay for the P8P for a $699 trade in and a $50 taxes for the P9P. $430 all said and done, not a bad deal.
