Tempted but on the fence, gonna take some time today to think about it.
Edit: I'm gonna jump on this, but I'll hold off to see if maybe R's CB percentage will go up from 2% since we're getting closer to BF. Another thing worth mentioning: I considered maybe going for the regular 9 over the pro ($150 less for me), but the TIV for last years P8 is $490 whereas the P8P will get you $699. So if that's any indication for next years TIV you might as well spring for the Pro.
If I do the 2tb monthly plan I'll get gold and then I'll see the deal?
Id be able to downgrade after a month or two?

I ended up doing play pass for $5 since I couldn't find anywhere if the 2tb G One plan included Gold status.
buy the pass, you have to unlock the gold perk by pressing the unlock button.
go over to perks and the 30% is listed.

Interestingly, my carrier t-mobile has the 256 gb pixel 9 pro but at 999 (there is no other storage option). Google store has options for 128 at 999 and 256 at 1099 depending on color (interestingly rose quartz only has 256 gb option).
