if it makes a difference my google one subscription is through my google fi as well.
I guess worse case is i get a play pass sub for $5. But any help is appreciated.
edit: It seems like i claimed the offer to upgrade to gold 2 years ago. So thats why im not seeing it. So i subbed to the play pass for $5, upgraded to gold but i am not seeing the offer as well.
edit 2: the offer showed up for me in the play store perks after about an hour.

edit - do you have to first pay 4.99/mo subscription and then you get upgrade offer??
Not sure if I want to waste money trying to see if play pass activates it
