After doing the $5 sub I didn't see the Skip to Gold under my rewards but it was located on my main page of the Play Store app. Here is a screenshot of what to look for if you can't find it: https://imgur.com/a/iPHD9kR

Once I skipped to gold, the 30% off coupon showed up under Perks when you look at your Play Points by clicking the blue point total on the top of the main page https://imgur.com/a/DKZNsyg

A couple things that I tried and what worked:
1. Trial for 2T wants to wait 1 month until play gold benefit is available. This doesn't seem to work.
2. Upgraded from existing 100GB One Plan to 2T plan (using Google Credit) and I immediately received play gold benefit and found 30% pixel 9 discount perk.
3. I had just purchased P9Pro using only $150 off from Google One, asked Google Support for price adjustment, provided my code, and they said escalation team will follow up in 24-72 hours. (Will try to update when I hear back)

I've had bad experience with Google Support, and have been rejected for price adjustments. They are also slow to respond. I would consider cancelling/returning your initial order and reordering with the 30% discount if that's an option. That's been way easier for me in the past.

I think it's pretty wrong that if I wanted to buy the Pixel 8a and offered my mint condition 6a as a trade in I'm only offered $90. But if I bought a 9 or 9 Pro, suddenly I'm offered $265 for the exact same trade in.
Stuff like that turns me off to the point of not wanting to do business with them.
