After doing the $5 sub I didn't see the Skip to Gold under my rewards but it was located on my main page of the Play Store app. Here is a screenshot of what to look for if you can't find it: https://imgur.com/a/iPHD9kR

Once I skipped to gold, the 30% off coupon showed up under Perks when you look at your Play Points by clicking the blue point total on the top of the main page https://imgur.com/a/DKZNsyg

You can use your Google play credit that you accumulate from Google opinion rewards. That what I did. Obviously that's assuming you use that app to collect $$ for your opinion. I had $20 saved up so I just took a chance and got the gold then the 30%
