When I used to work in Home Theatre, we always had a saying "if you buy Hisense, you got no sense". 70% return rate on these garbage televisions.
not enough profit margins? less commision?

Hisense are fine budget TVs with good reviews and return rates similar to other budget brands

I would agree except my 2020 65" model is still working just fine 4 years later, great picture too. I would have agreed YEARS ago in their early days, but they have come a long way and moved up in quality.

Personally I've been eyeing this exact 85" model. Might pull the trigger on this.

I was at Costco over the weekend and saw the $1649.99 100U70N in person. Wow, if I had the space that's what I would get. They also had the TCL 98Q672G for $1849.99, but I was more impressed by the Hisense picture quality.

Sure sounds like it to me. I went into Best Buy yesterday to look at the 75 inch U7N and the salesperson didn't even want to look at it. Instead he took me over to the LG OLEDs. Like, dude, I get it. But I'm not here to spend that type of money.

I would have scoffed at that a year prior, but after purchasing my 75" TV, renting a truck from Home Depot, breaking my back unloading, carrying it up the stairs and installing it myself (should have asked a friend), I'd say that is worth at least $125 of effort. Especially considering the liability of screen damage.

You post deals when drunk? Pretty impressive dude, I just wander about aimlessly painting fictitious scenarios of glory.
