Be sure to check Lenovo.com ... I ended up getting the 16" version directly from Lenovo instead of BBY and they had a CapitalOne shopping promo that came in the email about a day or two after browsing at the product online.

I really like this laptop overall for the price.. much better screen than the competing HP laptop.

My only gripe is that sleep sometimes doesn't work great and you come back to a dead battery.

The CPU actually has about the best possible integrated GPU , so it is actually quite good for games without being a clunky gaming laptop.
Parked @ 16 but should be fine for most people. Nobody is doing serious gaming or such with this thing.
You probably have devices/apps that are waking up your machine.

Few steps to identify what is causing this and you can potentially resolve it.

Went through this on a Dell.

When did this sale begin? I was literally in the store last night looking at this same laptop but passed since it wasn't on sale.

Seems decent except for the screen and battery life. Reviews claim it only gets about 5 hours. Trying to decide if it's worth it to hold out for the new versions of Intel's Lunar Lake laptops that will get more than double that (13 hours).

Why LPDDR for these new gen chip/laptop?
Can't feel meaningful performance improvement, still same hours of battery power usage.
Now I'm looking for deals with DDR where I can add more RAMs.

Solid laptop but I returned this because of the keyboard quality. The non-ThinkPad Lenovo keyboards just don't compare to ThinkPad keyboards.

I saw this in person at Best Buy and thought the screen was the best there in the sub $1K price point. Then again, I'm sure BB has ways of making things look nicer than they are.

Consider the Acer Aspire Vero with a Lunar Lake (edit: METEOR LAKE, NOT LUNAR LAKE) CPU at $579:

https://slickdeals.net/f/17863032-acer-aspire-vero-16-2024-16-qhd-ips-intel-ultra-7-155u-16gb-lpddr5x-512gb-ssd-579-99-at-best-buy?src=jfy&prop=rcmid-c42e2f1dd19ce8af65d723c94c973caf&attrsrc=JFYCarousel%3APosition%3A12%7CJFYCarousel%3AType%3Athread

Also consider that the AMD 780M integrated graphics is still slightly better than the Intel ARC integrated graphics on Lunar Lake. So anyone with modest 3D gaming needs will benefit from AMD integrated graphics. The AMD 8840HS is the oldest AMD CPU I would consider adequate for AI enabled apps. If you can live with 5 Hrs of battery and USB-C charging and want to play games at FHD on med-low settings.
