Yeah, I ran into a McDonalds 3 miles up the road that pulls that crap, luckily the one 1/2 mile from me accepts all offers. Those others that don't accept McDonalds offers should have another name for their places like, McDonalds Limited or something that stands out to know they have no deals here.

Probably using it as a loss leader to get traffic in the door hoping you'll buy other stuff at full price (and perhaps with better margins ala soft drinks). I'm sure there are far more people than me and you that will do just that.

I have been eyeing that Dulce De Leche Frappy and looking for any excuse to subtract "x" amount off another item and then envelope the cost of that into it and then pay for both items. Sadly, it is priced too high. This item would actually cost $5.29 near me and knocking off $4.29 against $4.79???
