Yeah, I ran into a McDonalds 3 miles up the road that pulls that crap, luckily the one 1/2 mile from me accepts all offers. Those others that don't accept McDonalds offers should have another name for their places like, McDonalds Limited or something that stands out to know they have no deals here.

Indeed (although at this price this item/deal is certainly a loss leader). Inflation was a small part of initial increases, but the CEO announced at the shareholders meetings over the past few years, they kept raising prices not because of increased costs but because customers kept paying them without a decline in sales. Only this year have they seen a sales drop, at which point they now "care about affordability"

I think it's more that chicken prices have dropped and they forecasted they can do a promo like this for a certain period. It's similar to what they do with the McRib.

Same thing , deep fried is good
just mush processed chickens .

I can cook up a batch in 5 min in my garage deep fryer

avoid gas costs, wear and tear on vehicle , can use my own pure honey or sauce, also avoid humans all together

I thought the McRib's were only sold certain times of the year because it takes months to gather up all the scraps, and once they have enough they make McRIbs.
