This is a great bag, and my go to for long weekend trips because it's big enough for everything and you can take it on any airplane with zero issues.
I've had the older version of the Daylite Plus pack for nearly 4 years and one of the current Daylite Plus packs for about a year. I carry about 10-15 pounds of stuff when I go out hiking or do radio activations.

While the shoulder straps and the waist belt are thin material, I've never had an issue with comfort. Both of mu packs are still in great shape. If you might need more padding or a larger pack, the Skarab (30l) is one you should look at. It's also a lightweight pack, but I've done about 20-25lbs in that pack and it's about 14oz more than the Daylite Plus.

These are meant to be lightweight day-use packs. I agree that $75 is too much for the pack, but I usually get these around $40-50 and I think that's a great deal for my usage. I'd love to have wider or thicker straps, but I don't feel they are needed for the weight I'm carrying.

I got one from the Amazon deal a couple of months ago and returned it. The quality of these are definitely that of a $20-$40 bag.

Just my opinion as someone who's own other Osprey bags, travel bags ranging from this price to $200s, and was really hoping for this to be a good product. I would say it's definitely not worth the MSRP at least.

Bought the Cotopaxi Tasra 16L yesterday but debating exchanging for this one. Have two kids under 4 and the Daylite is my family outing bag (wipese, change of clothes, snacks, diapers for the younger one, etc.) but wanted a bit more room. Any recs on keeping the Tasra or going with the Daylite Plus?

I see a lot of quality concerns here. I've used my osprey backpack commuting and in office since I bought it in 2017. Some of the inside is looking a little bit worn. The zipper pulls needed replacing this year. Osprey replaced them for free. I sometimes think about buying a new commuter pack since I travel for work twice a month for the last two years. I haven't seen a reason to get a new one yet.

The brand is generally excellent quality, and comes with lifetime warranties that work.
This particular bag doesn't seem to live up to the rep.
