If you live close enough to a Nebraska Furniture store, online pricing can get down to $2,186 before taxes. See attached photo in cart

AllState insurance isn't anything to brag about. Check out Reddit for their wonderful review of it. They are offering bottom of the barrel QLED for OLED. https://www.reddit.com/r/4kTV/com...tion_plan/
I follow reddit religiously and the guy who made the bottom of the barrel comment is a prick. He posts a lot and usually shills for the high priced TCLs. Not saying this TCL is a bad deal but he craps on most TVs that are cheap and think everyone just has endless money to spend. His posts irritate me. I wont call out his name but first and last are a play on currency.

If Allstate offers you a QLED for an OLED, simply put you say no. They will replace it with an OLED or refund your money. The part about deducting cost of previous repair visits is BS though if that is true. If Allstate gives you any issue simply escalate to Costco. Problem solved.

I would much rather have a tv with an extended warranty than one without. Costco usually includes them on most deals. As Sams and BJs do the same to compete.

Every tv extended warranty company has complaints. Best Buy extended warranty is probably the best but its super expensive so I'm fine with the free one from the warehouse clubs or buying it at Amazon and getting it a bit cheaper than Best Buy.

I bought my mom the 65" version of this. I wish I had gotten her an LG or a Samsung. The picture is fine, but it has bugs. At least every couple of weeks, for example, it reverts from eArc audio output back to TV speakers. She can't figure out how to fix it, so I have to drive over there and do it. She never had that problem with her previous TV. It also frequently forgets which HDMI input it was on last, which again is something that is hard for her to figure out.

Yeah low risk. I have the TV set and I'm very happy with it if you aren't spoiled by OLED.
isnt mini-led next best to oled? would say it is or it depends on the brand of tv? like a LG local dimming tv can possibly be better than a tcl mini led?

yeah spoiled by oled..its just too good but I also cant buy a 98" oled

I cancelled my Costco order for this. I feel I will have less regret with the mini LED. More positive reviews on the QM7 than the U70N in general.

i cancelled mine too since it was supposed to get delivered later this week and got the TCL. Ive seen some great TCL tvs but yeah i dont want issues down the road from what i hear on the hisense brand. I personally can see difference in backlight dimming so rather pay now to avoid the annoyance later lol

I mean TCL is another cheap brand for TVs..same boat as Hisense..its not like u are jumping to a Sony or Samsung. Look at Reddit and TCL has its own share of problems and panels going out in under a year.....

At least with Costco, they offer full 90 day return window AND the 1st 2 years of tech support is directly with Costco Conceirge (who also issue refund if set is unrepairable).

With BB even with extended warranty, u still deal with TCL for the 1st year. BB warranty starts AFTER manufacturer warranty runs out. Most people don't realize this when buying BB extended warranty. Just a FYI.

I have a 75" Hisense bought from BF deals 2 years ago and its rock solid to this day.....

It seems like you jump into every TCL QM7 thread to justified your purchase 100" Hisense. Let others decide from themselves. There are other people who are willing pay more for contrast and darker black that's why different tiers of TV exist in every manufacture. Just be happy with your set and carry on

I'm going with this. I saw the Hisense Costco version in person after it was calibrated, and I was very unimpressed. The quality control issues were readily apparent.

I knew I wasn't the only one. Both of me and my wife went to check it out. Beside the huge size, I think my 3 year old 85" Sony X900H looked better - better contrast, black, more natural color with less washout. Side by side at Best Buy is even more noticeable. Hisense 100" for $1800 is unbelievable deal but only if you are willing to live with the compromises. Some do, some don't.
