As listed, this is visible for education pricing, and may potentially work for other discount categories offered by Samsung.

Trade-in stacking is possible, however, in typical Samsung fashion the discount is computed in a screwy way that results in the savings value computed post-trade-in deduction.

Non-expandable storage and system memory

Sort of worth it at this price, assuming you know exactly what you're getting it for (office machine, multimedia, programming to an extent) - good screen, battery life. Expect teething issues.

Specs:
  • Snapdragon X Elite (X1E-80-100) 12-core (3.4GHz Base / 4.0GHz Boost) Processor
  • 16" (2880x1800) 120Hz AMOLED Touchscreen Display
  • 16GB RAM
  • 512GB eUFS
  • Qualcomm Adreno Graphics
  • Windows 11 Home
  • Ports:
  • 1x HDMI 2.1, Display connection via USB port
  • 2x USB-C 4
  • 1x USB 3.2 Type-A

Please do your research before purchasing. I wanted this laptop so bad because of Samsung ecosystem. Already had it ready for pickup, but after watching a lot of reviews and recent user experience, I canceled my order. It is a nice looking machine, but needs more work.
They are at such huge discount for a reason.

Be careful how Samsung characterizes "generations" of old MacBooks for trade-in. They don't list them by release year or processor types, but show generations, and everyone I asked at Samsung Support counted generations differently.

Clarification: stack trade-in value on top of the education and main discount. You can only trade-in one device per purchase.

Could you expand on that? Most reviews I've read are fairly positive, bar the compatibility issues, which is more of a platform constraint with ARM on Windows.

Aside from compatibility issue, which is understandable, there are multiple "Black screen" cases and you need to completely reinstall Windows to repair. Seems like incompatibility with some drivers from Windows update (most reviews focused on the time when this laptop was released and didn't have this problem). Samsung still didn't address this issue after several months. The battery life also at half of advertised at best, and laptop can overheat with simple tasks because it may have x86 processes and software run in background in simulation mode. Needs constantly manage task manager. Check Samsung Members forum and Reddit. Many reviews on Best Buy site and Samsung.com mostly collected for promotion. In many cases Samsung Support and mail-in repair service offers little help. As I said, needs more polish.

I have the 14-inch version, which I got for $424 by trading in an old tablet and have not experienced any of these issues. This thing blazes for me and runs everything I need. Battery life has also been stellar. At only 2.6 pounds, its light as a feather too. And the display is the best I've ever seen on a laptop. It's been a pleasure to use for the two weeks I've had it and don't regret my purchase at all.

Agreed!
I have the 16in version and after de-bloating the Samsung crap apps, it has amazing battery life! Love this laptop and I got it for 399 after trade-in of a Galaxy Tab S8

Same. Love my 14" Edge. I'll keep my MacBook Pro for home office use but the Edge gets used everywhere else and when traveling.

Ima piggyback. Love my 14" Edge. I haven't had a chance to use it much but I often open it up and admire it from time to time. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I just traded in my old Galaxy Go Book (Other Galaxy Book) and received an additional $250 off, so my final price was $510 plus tax.
