Thought about getting these a few different times but seems they get flooded if left out in the elements. Too bad cause Govee stuff is usually pretty great for the money

You see that on Amazon or something? That's a shame

Was thinking the same, and just checked Amazon for par lights and there are plenty of deals for par lights there. Looks like these are for indoor use only based on the negative reviews.

That might be ideal since I'm used to using par lights that need DMX cables to sync. At just over $10 a piece these might be cool to throw up on a light tree but not if I need wifi to control them.

I've owned these for almost 2 years in the PNW with frequent rain and some snow. They sit on the ground of my concrete patio (uncovered) and I haven't had any issues with them.

I suppose that's good to know. Maybe there's a quality control issue with this item? Idk can't say for sure as I don't own them. Just going off reviews. Bunch of people complaining about the same thing with pictures as proof. I might wait for a Gen 2 version or something

I've had mine for a year or longer. Been happy with them and not flooded. When my roof leaked during the hurricane, these had no damge. Recent family breast cancer diagnosis. Maybe the picture didn't post.
