There's no such thing as Ryzen AI 9 HX 365, only 365 & HX 375. HX 375 has better iGPU. This 880M is just as same as previous gen 780M

Look up 780m/880m benchmarks and you'll have your answer. This laptop does pretty well for an ultraslim igpu.


Almost makes me wish I still lived in SoCal. It was a 2-3 hour drive round trip over to Tustin, but Microcenter deals were so badass I didn't mind especially as Newegg went downhill to become a merely average retailer.

A 14" laptop isn't what I'm looking for, but this is a VERY slick deal for anyone wanting an ultra-portable. The Vivobook is very close to a Zenbook in most regards including an all-metal chassis. Rather than wait for BF, I'd say buy now if you're on the fence. You'll have it in hand and be able to return by the time the Black Friday deals become known. Even if you do spot a better deal for BF, those often sell out quick and the overall package versus price on offer here is excellent. 120HZ OLED, metal build, solid cpu etc. I'd prefer 32Ggb ram and a 2tb ssd, but that's not happening at this price point in 2024, even on BF.

How does this compare to the new lunar lake laptops by intel? I don't want an arm laptop because of compatibility issues, but I don't know if I should get something like this or pay much more for the lunar lake.
