Haha, I already bought 4 of these.
By far the cheaper Lifepo4 ever. Less than .10 per wh.
Rated at 1920wh and I've tested 2 of them and got 1950wh.
Was going to post this but it seems I always get deleted everytime I post a deal.

These are not cranking batteries, they are designed to supply current at a somewhat steady rate. You would not want to use these type of batteries as your starting battery.

Description says 120A max continuous discharge x nominal 51.2v for your x4 series, so I come up with 6144w max output.

Working back from you numbers, it appears you might have been multiplying 12vx150ahx4 batteries to get that number and were referring to capacity?

In that case, multiply the 150ah x nominal 12.8v x 4 batteries for 7680w/h. Then multiply by inverter efficiency (check inverter, but 80% is conservative in most cases) to get usable capacity, which in this example would be 6144w/h

Does anyone know what the surge current is before the BMS kicks in?

I want to run an 1800W inverter that has a 3000W surge current. So ~150A max constant/~250A surge. I'm not going to be regularly maxing it out, but I want to size a battery that can keep up with the inverter.

this is a better deal than the 12v 280ah version.
Can get 8 of these for less than 4 of the 280ah batteries and get an extra 20ah capacity, or over 14kw.

You're right about that BUT someone posted a YouTube video showing that these battery types are capable of doing it. Again, not recommended but capable of needed. Ymmv.
Max discharge current on this battery is spec'd at 120A. It will depend on the engine, but peak cranking power is likely going to be more than 120A for a passenger vehicle. Probably okay for small engines. Going beyond the spec is risking damaging the battery.

Ecoworthy is a big player and you don't know if they are making any money. Their cost are 15% to eBay and $30-40 in freight per battery . They only take in about $100usd for this deal. My guess is their losing money on this just to have cell quantity buying power or they have to much inventory.
I think they are clearing these out, it's an older model that has been around for at least a couple of years. I don't see this model on their website, only the newer 150Ah one with a metal case.

What did Will Prowse say about these?
That's all I care about, but if he says some cheap ones are good they shoot up in price

This is an excellent value - especially with Bluetooth monitoring.

To any new battery buyers out there, I highly advise only buying LifePo4 batteries that give you cell-level Bluetooth monitoring as it is very useful to understand what is happening internally. Without it, you're flying blind with only the overall pack voltage to help diagnose any issues.

How did you test its capacity? What is the start and stop voltage?

I recall them having the older 150ah version, but I don't recall it having Bluetooth.
Seems like EW adding Bluetooth is fairly recent but I could be wrong.

Can anyone share a link to a YouTube video on how to use these in a home setting?

I can never get the code to work. It says "you've already applied this code to an offer" regardless of what I do.
I had the same issue. Changed the payment method from PayPal to GPay and it worked

It took me a while to get it to work but I needed to update my payment method from PayPal to PayPal credit.

I thought that was only me. I stopped bothering posting deals years ago because tey either got outright deleted, or deleted so a staff member could post the same deal on front page.

Probably a dumb question, but...any way to use this as a UPS? If so, what else needs to be purchased to do it?

You can NOT replace your regular lead acid battery with one of these.
Cranking or not, there are another dozen or so reasons why this won't work, notwithstanding Youtube videos showing that something was possible for a moment.

Not really the right tool for the job. You're better off buying a purpose built UPS that has battery, inverter and charger built in - something like an APS brand.

These LifePo4 batteries are usually used for solar/home energy storage, RV house batteries, etc.
