Depends on what you want it for. features you don't use, don't add value, but they still add cost.
the m1 / m2 ipad pros are awesome. The m4 is more awesomer in every way. lighter, thinner, brighter, faster, fancier pen features, etc. You're paying for it though.
the 2tb m2 ipad pro 13" costs effectively the same as the 256gb m4 ipad pro 13".
If you don't store much stuff on your ipad, and you don't expect the 256gb limitation to be a problem for as long as you own it, m4 is probably a better purchase.
The more storage you need, the more sense it makes to get the 2tb m2 pro. a 2tb m4 pro would be $2300. (and cellular costs extra, if that's something you care about, and will subscribe for an extra line with a mobile carrier.)

Don't forget about the extra 8 gb of ram (16) in the 1&2TB versions. It could help significantly with Ai in the future.

Bought the 11" M1 2TB @ $849 via Woot[macrumors.com] about a year ago. If people don't buy these like hotcakes, the 2TB model will be at that price before long. They have a lot of these things and they know most people will not pay over $1000 for a tablet. It's not going to sell out overnight, because last year, it took them several weeks to sell these. Not only did they reduce the price, they added in stuff like the magnetic smart cases/etc for them too.
The 1TB/2TB have 16GB of RAM, which if you're a gamer or editing 4K video on LumaFusion or another app, it's a good choice.
FYI Woot is owned by Amazon.com, and this is Amazon's old inventory that hasn't sold. It is fully warrantied by Apple and eligible for AppleCare should you choose to buy it

I missed this deal the last time… But I wish Woot still had the 20% coupon to go with this deal!
Keep in mind that these are non-US version. No real impact, except you might get a non US 20W adapter. And for cellular, you won't have mmWave which isn't really a big deal either. These are still very fast, and expect 6+ years of updates.
