Do any carriers like AT&T or T-Mobile offer Black Friday deals on plans that you can lock into? Or are most/all of the deals just discounts on phones?

We're currently on T-Mobile but want to shop around for a better deal for 5 people. Currently pay $160 for two accounts of their 55+ plan ($90 for a 3-person account and $70 for a 2-person account).
If it helps our chances on the deal we get, the account holder is a Nurse so some possible discounts because of that?

You can call 611 and talk to customer service. They'll be able to apply a 10% discount for service industry medical/military discount since they don't do institutional discounts anymore. You'd be better to switch to another carrier and port back in, but that would only be for a promotion like getting new phones, which mostly are actually on payment contracts separate from your service contract, meaning if you unpair the device from the service by switching sim card to another competitor or discontinue service before the device is paid off, you'll owe it all in a single payment. T-Mobile's service has been lagging for the past few years, but mostly as a result of being network overrun by the MVNOS like Mint Mobile who use the same equipment and signals. That said, it's still the cheapest service around for unlimited phone and internet use. There is no per-device "connection fee" or data caps like the others and it's a much more international-friendly service than most domestic carriers, so if you're planning on travelling before Jan 20, it might make sense to keep it.

Plans, not usually without a phone upgrade.

https://www.usmobile.com/plans It's not specifically a Black Friday deal, but you can choose between the T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T networks for all of their plans. I highly recommend annually waiting until Black Friday for new phone hardware, but using US Mobile for the carrier. I'm on my phone all the time and use the "Unlimited Starter" plan, paid annually, for $270. If you did that for all 5 people you're at $1,350 annually, which is $570/year less than what you're paying now.

Yes, im/was with tmobile paying 150/168 after taxes. for 4 lines with 15gb hotspot

moving to att there is a
230+tax option (fastest data plan no throttling and 60gb hotspot per line)
180+tax option (throttling after 75gb data and 30gb hotspot per line)

i get 50 off 10 per because of job, believe nurse would also qualify
i get another 20% off because i have att fiber
also offered $250 giftcard per line moved or added so 1250.
