You mean you can get a knockoff for cheaper? That's not Samsonite nor is it polycarbonate.

I got this delivered last night. Package had been previously opened. Was supposed to come from FedEx, but was delivered by Amazon. The tracking number provided by buydig didn't work. The smaller luggage was missing. Pretty sure I got scammed. Buyer beware.

Pic is definitely Omni and not Omni 2. All of the UPC codes and stock numbers are Omni as well.

Omni and Omni 2 are functionally identical, but this is lighter (and cheaper obviously) than Omni 2 so I would prefer this

I have used them on a few occasions over the years and have never had an issue. They have been around ~40 years from a brick-and-mortar store to online sales in the 90's. They were originally an authorized retailer for the major electronic brands, but have branched out to other areas. You shouldn't have an issue.

I have some old hardside Samsonite luggage from the Late 90s. What is the difference now? Everything seems flimsy, but more lightweight (obviously)

Omni 2 has sturdier, more maneuverable dual spinner wheels and aesthetics (Omni 1 looks way better to me). Omni 2's 22" carry-on also has a side handle whereas the Omni 1's 20" carry-on doesn't.

I recommend going with dual wheel luggage at this point. The 3-set Omni 1 used to go for $200 back in 2018 and the single wheels are really annoying to lug around. They do look great, though.
