I'd stay away from the $128.99 5 tier shelves if you plan to store anything "heavy" on them. Whatever the black material is, it's only supported by the edges.

I've seen similar designs before where the shelving material was pressed fiberboard. Those eventually absorb moisture and begin to sag and if it gets bad enough they fall down as they deform away from the metal rails supporting the sides.
