Secondly, the coasters WILL fail. The charging is done by two extremely fragile metal pins (stupidest design ever on a heavy mug that holds liquid). The construction is very frail. I've had 4 coasters fail on me , and they typically fail right outside the warranty period.
After spending 100's of dollars with nearly 100% failure rate in these 2 departments, i stopped buying them. Do yourself a favor and just buy a standard mug with a normal warming plate, or just a good double walled mug.

Tried 135 but to me that's lukewarm.
Secondly, the coasters WILL fail. The charging is done by two extremely fragile metal pins (stupidest design ever on a heavy mug that holds liquid). The construction is very frail. I've had 4 coasters fail on me , and they typically fail right outside the warranty period.
After spending 100's of dollars with nearly 100% failure rate in these 2 departments, i stopped buying them. Do yourself a favor and just buy a standard mug with a normal warming plate, or just a good double walled mug.
The biggest feature is keeping the drink to your favourite temperature, something you can't get with just an insulated mug or a powered coaster.
However, the battery is underpowered, so regularly charging it means it will fail quite quickly. Then if out of warranty there is no battery replacement option as these things are custom!
