The main benefit of this band is that you do not need to unclasp it to wear it and there is no need to resize it since you buy it in your size. I find it very comfortable to take it on and off because of this. I have owned Apple Watches for almost a decade and immediately switched to this type of band exclusively starting 4 years ago when they came out because of the comfort. The non-braided one isn't as comfortable and I find it gets sweaty and dirty too easily in comparison.
The knock off ones on Amazon are decent quality, the main difference is in the connectors. Most knock offs use plastic connectors and you can see the colored plastic where connects to the watch. It doesn't look as nice as the real thing. In the official Apple bands the woven portion band of the band is stretched at the ends so that you do not see any plastic, and the connectors are metal, but that metal is hidden inside the watch. I found a couple knock off brands on the Internet that had a similar design to Apple's, but the sizing wasn't right.
However, the most important thing that you need to know is that these bands stretch out permanently. I wear a size 6 band with a 45 mm watch. I have needed a new band approximately every 3 months because of how badly they stretch. The Apple models and the knock offs stretch equally in my experience. I only got Apple to replace one of them under warranty but I've read that the usually refuse to do it.
I have found that there are very few knockoffs left on Amazon because I think there were too many complaints about the stretching so they stopped making them in the original form. I have now found that most of the Amazon knock offs are no longer sized, but instead of a resizable loop that you can pull to tight. I find that's OK but not as elegant as the perfect size.
The other annoying thing is the way Apple discontinues colors. I prefer the Atlantic Blue color which they haven't made in a few years (and is not available in my size via this deal). I buy most of mine second hand open box.
Best to try on in person to find your size, however Apple has an online sizing guide that you can print out

At the end of the day it's whatever floats your boat but I've gradually replaced them all with branded only using these sales that pop up. No problems.
I haven't tried the knockoff Alpine Loops, but found the Trail Loops are pretty good quality, and more so considering the genuine $100 Trail Loops do still fray at the edges, like I've seen on the demo units at the stores. The replica closed loop lug fittings on the Trail knockoffs are also better executed than the standard lug fittings.
There is more of an obvious quality gap on bands like the Sport Loops, where the plastic fittings like the lugs are clearly many steps down in quality. The textile weaves and thread counts are ok, but not going to be as tight, or high. All elastics will wear out, and it isn't hard to predict which will wear out first.
That said, for the $1-2 each the knockoffs fetch on Alixpress, or the slightly more on Amazon, a lot of sins can be forgiven.
As far as compatibility with the Ultra, it depends. Its native bands are 24mm in width, while the other Watches more commonly have 22mm bands, so the proportions can be a bit off with the latter if one has an eye for it. But most probably don't even notice, or care.

1. My wife ordered one online from Apple. Bad fit. Then she purchased another one at the Apple Store after trying some on. Fit at the Apple Store was fine. Bought one. Took it home. Bad fit. Too tight. Store rep said the demo ones are tried on so often, they stretch. She tried both the braided and the silicon one.
2. I ordered one two sizes smaller than the Apple page suggested. Tight but fine after a few days. Very comfortable. Six months later, it was too loose. Put it in a mesh bad, washing machine, then dryer. Cleaned it and it became tight again. Like new. A few months later, loose again.
I think that's why the authorized retailers don't sell them. Would be a very high return one because of the problem of getting the right fit.
However, at the Woot price, take a chance. Order a size or two smaller than the Apple measuring tool. Definitely not worth the $ 99 Apple price.
