CVS Info:

First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.

Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing

The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called ExtraCare Bucks (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.

Often, CVS advertises items as Free after ECB For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.

The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions then earning more to keep doing the same. Its a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

Yeah...I used to kind of haha about people getting pet insurance but damn the bills can be so expensive. My parents spent thousands upon thousands for Maggie when she had cancer. (Then they declared her cancer free and she died a week later from tainted meat from Mighty Dog..wtf?) How much do they think it'll be for him?

Comfort It's the anesthetic - it's expensive to knock a dog out and do surgery.

DH was at work. Some trucking company brought new stoves for the restaurant. Dude didn't want to use the floor jack. So he had DH and another worker help bring them in. Well the stupid company guy lets go. Other dude tried to help hold the weight and could not. So it fell on DH's leg.

It looks awful.

Wow that sucks. I already decided if he ends up with cancer or anything else serious, we'd put him down. He already has slight kidney problems, so idk even know if they can put him under tomorrow. They did the pre-anesthesia blood work today and rushed it to get it by 8am tomorrow. Hopefully he can have it done, depends on the blood work.
But this will be the last thing we do, surgery wise. It's probably going to cost 1k.OMG But he will feel so much better after and live a few more years, hopefully. But yea 1k..damn...Facepalm

OSHA's going to have a field day with this one! EEK! So who pays the claim? The trucking company or your DH's company?

Ouuuch! If it's broken will his work at least pay medical expenses and for his sick leave since it happened while at work?

They made him fill out an accident report. It was all caught on tape. We don't know who is going to pay for it. Stress
