CVS Info:
First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.
Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing
The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called ExtraCare Bucks (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.
Often, CVS advertises items as Free after ECB For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.
The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions then earning more to keep doing the same. Its a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

I'm an 8 1/2 - pretty sure bunches of us are here.
/being a whiny bitch this morning
Tired, but doggie ate last night and today seems well. He's obviously a little sore. Gave him his pain meds this am and soft food and now he's sleeping nice and sound..
So now I can finally get some rest..
Hope you all have a great day, I'm going to nap and then maybe call the realtor to go look at some houses this weekend. There's an awesome foreclosure showing sunday and the house looks really good, for the price we have like 50k leway to fix things and make it our own..
Gosh, I really love this school J is in. Every day they update his grades and also with his behavior points per class. So, not only do I know his grades at any moment, I know what kind of conduct he had for the day. Plus, I really like the community service thing. It gives the kids some experience and also gives back to the community. He can't wait for his senior year. He gets to pick a field placement course on the college campus. He has already decided to take the welding. After the school year he will have 12 college credits and be half way done with the college welding program

RRG - that school sounds amazing. Catered lunches? Wowser! Love the volunteer stuff, too. That's very cool. And going into college with 12 credits is great!
BG - glad your pup is doing so well!
DH & I had lunch with BT this morning, then I taught Jr Achievement. Now I'm home cramming lunch and getting ready to take LT back up to the school for a speech screening.
To make matters worse T is in a funk and has done absolutely nothing around the house as of late. So far today I've emptied and refilled the dishwasher, washed my work clothes and the bathroom and kitchen rugs, cleaned the fridge (

The catered lunches aren't super fancy but hey, it is better than the school lunches he was used to. He seems to have adjusted so much better than I thought he would to the switch. He loves the new school.
He is super excited to be able to do the field training thing. They have a bunch of options to choose from (as far as what class they want to take.) He is so set on welding.
