Feedback from previous deals that included that say it's terrible service, often late, don't show up the scheduled day, or just can't do it right because the installers are local 3rd party guys that may not have a lot of experience.
If you want the install done right, either do it yourself or hire someone that has done a lot of TV mounting to know what they're doing.
In for a set. Picked up TV today at bestbuy and soundbar comes in a few days. How is the free installation? I bought a fireplace mount that pulls down…wonder if they'll be able to handle that install.
Their warranty doesn't cover burn-in. Flagship G3 only does. Video Only in NorCal, OR, WA does according to a woman who posted a while back. Can't remember about Costco. Possible could sell soundbar and buy a top notch warranty.
They're a chain of stores out here in Cali .I just got a C4 for 1299 (tax extra) including 5yr warranty with burn in coverage. And price drop protection till BF
65", but their prices will be coming down, like other retailers. She bought it almost a month ago. Noticed Video Only raises their price to 1499 on Mon/Tues and lowers it to 1299 for the weekend. In-store only, No online sales.https://www.videoonly.com/ratings-lg.phpAbout a month ago, one or rwo people claimed they posted it on FB Marketplace, CL, and OfferUp and sold it for $500 (different LG deal), but I imagine with BFso close- could be difficult to duplicate.
I've not received any low ball offers. I'm definitely priced lower than all the other listings on marketplace and CL.
Did you buy 65" or 77". Do you know their BF price for 77"?
Haven't bought yet. Only paying attention to the 65" C4 or G3. If you're referring to Video Only, the poster bought the 65" C4 prior to 10/16 for 1299.
I believe you can negotiate with Video Only. I called them and they seemed open to it. Not sure what their price is for the 77" on BF.
I think this is the best deal with the soundbar IF you can live without WiFi 6E and the NFC enabled magic remote at Costco, Sam's Club, and Video Only. In my view, the warranty at VO is the best,
but Costco & Sam's Club may cover burn-in as well. Again, I'm not versed in the pricing of the 77".
Checked out Best Buy this morning. Nothing stood out to me though may end up buying a reliable wall mount. Going to check Consumer Reports and Wirecutter.

Be sure to train everyone in your house to never pull down/push up the TV via the panel. Have them always use the handle (on penalty of death, if need be). Ask me how I know 🤥

Didn't think of that being a problem, but good to know! My wife would definitely grab the TV itself. Did you crack your screen?

Maybe try, if you haven't already, deleting the CL listing Sat morning. Use a different email and repost so it goes to the top of the listings. Not experienced with how FB Marketplace or OfferUp works.

anyone know of any 3rd party warranties that cover burn-in?
Not sure if Video Only would sell you one. When I called the San Rafael store a few weeks ago, Mike Evans, the store manager picked up and offered $99 5yr warranty for the 65" C4.
Told him I was coming from a couple hours away and he offered the warranty at no charge. If you're not in NorCal, OR, WA. Worth a call, he told me it was a national warranty.

The mount we had made it a bit difficult to push the TV up. One day, my wife grabbed the bottom of the panel, but had her thumbs on the screen (applying a bit of force) and pushed the TV up. The LCD cracked from the bottom up and the TV had a huge line in it which just got worse over the next few days, eventually rendering it unwatchable.
83" B4 from costco for $2500 or 83" C4 with unnecessary soundbar for 3k. What would you choose for basement tv given B4 <> C4 diff from rtings is minimal? https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/c...9540/49541

Assuming soundbar is really unnecessary, B4 might be good enough for basement. Part of C4 advantage is brightness, but if you're in the basement needing brightness is not as necessary

This is a partner deal, so no additional coupon can be applied?
Should one go with the extended waranty?
Decisions-decisions...should one wait for a deal in costco with updated Wifi?

No burn-in coverage except for 1st year.
