Feedback from previous deals that included that say it's terrible service, often late, don't show up the scheduled day, or just can't do it right because the installers are local 3rd party guys that may not have a lot of experience.
If you want the install done right, either do it yourself or hire someone that has done a lot of TV mounting to know what they're doing.
Chat LG.com and straight up ask for a 15% code. That's what I did. Regardless, I had to cancel my order because of being backordered. I went with the partner store and was able to select in store pickup at Best Buy, which wasn't available at LG.com
Looks the poster you quoted deleted their post but they're missing the point that the LG partner site is from the domain LG.com so it should qualify for all the cash back or Amex offers. The difference between LG.com proper and Partner store was exactly $110 but the partner store included the sound bar. As long as I can get more than $110 for the soundbar, I'm good.

Thank you! Will the coupon work on the partner store as well?
I can 100% confirm that I received my 4% statement credit from Amex Offers for purchasing through the partner store. It posted to my account today (approximately 4 days after purchase). That took another $86 off.
I did some calculations, if I buy it from LG edu it would roughly 2180 with tax and free speaker and if I buy from LG.com it would be 2050 with 15% and potentially 246 cashback from some multiple combinations. Is the speaker's resale value with the 300 differences
Are you talking about the 12% cashback? If so, will they honor that when using a coupon?

As far as I read and asked in the forums and redit--> Cashback sites/credit card cashback affiliation link WILL NOT stack with a discount code unless that code originates from their site. If this is the case and since %15 is LG rep discount code I believe most of the folks' cost calculation will end up wrong for their TV purchases.

Okay.
Did you click through Amex 1st, then ...... Or did you simply pay with Amex?
Thx.

Add the LG.com Amex offers from their Amex app first, then complete the purchase with the same card you added the offer to. 4% statement credit will show up within 90 days (4 for me).

So I dont think cashback works from the partner site. As an example I have a shopping extension installed and I get (targeted) 30% in rewards max $250. When I activate it and I am on LG.com the extension properly shows the 30%, but once I navigate to members.lg.com (the partner site) , the extension does not show anything.
However , I know someone reported they contacted customer service of the rewards site because the partner site did not track and they ended up manually getting the $250 rewards but it took awhile. So it is a YMMV and you can either use the coupon at LG and argue and take a screenshot showing the cashback/rewards percentage and maybe have to open a ticket or use the partner site , get the soundbar and almost definitely have to open a ticket.
I see no where on the cap one portal where it says using coupons voids the rewards though its probably hidden somewhere. One popular site is having 20% at LG on the 20th. I would take my chances with the coupon but not with shady ones who deny cashback frequently
From my perspective the calculations are different because I am most likely looking at a 55"

That may certainly be the case with other cash-back programs but I can 100% verify that the American Express 4% works at members.lg.com.
My total with tax at LG.com with a 15% chat representative code for the 77" C4 was $2021.93
My total at members.lg.com for the 77" C4 and the SC9S soundbar was $2140.86
Both purchases qualified for 4% Amex offers.
The strange thing for me is that LG.com didn't have local pickup as an option and the TV was backordered until November 25th at the earliest. I canceled and was able to get it through the partner site via military two days later with local pickup available.
I have the 2022 version of this soundbar and love it. I contemplated keeping the new one and selling my version but the difference according to Rtings is negligible, at best. Not for nothing, I can certainly get more money for a brand new in box product than my used one.
Bottom line, if you need a soundbar this is a great deal on the 77". If you don't, reselling the soundbar still makes it a good deal that's $300-500+ less than MSRP from an authorized reseller.
For those whom decide to do pickup (best buy), you NEED to make sure that the service they schedule with Handy is at the correct address. They sent my installers to best buy this morning
How did your installation go? Any issues/concerns with Handy?

They were great but like I said, I selected store pickup at best buy and the handy installers were sent to best buy for my hanging appointment. You should check and double check the address when the service is scheduled or rescheduled.

Oh I checked and changed to my home address. Thanks for that. Just a bit worried because I have seen some negative comments about Handy's work. Did you tell them exactly how high you wanted the TV mounted? Or they were experienced enough to mount to seating level height?
The guy did a fine job. A little rushed and didn't configure the mount fully, but to be fair it was a $400 mantelmount that was complicated to install. Don't expect perfection, but the TV is level and the mount works - I had to adjust the lifting power and soundbar. I tipped him $40 because it took 2 hours to install.
The rear speakers are a must have if using the sound bar! I used the AI audio settings and the rear speakers make a huge difference. Had to turn up center channel to +4db.
Oh, that's great. Which rear speakers did you get? Did they also install the soundbar?
