This is going to sound strange: I first bought the TV in 2001---that broke this year 2004. Lasted 3 years, The TV refused to go 'on' one day even after troubleshooting. I did use the TV 8-12 hours every day for 3 years for the Roku side of the TV and Computer screen side of the TV,
I had bought the extra warranty(allstate).. They offered the choice of 3 different brands of a Roku TV as a replacement. I chose the Hisense 50" R6 Series Roku Smart TV again. So, i am on the 2nd one these TVs.
For under $500 for a Roku TV, it was still the best choice. Best picture for a Roku tv. Dolby Vision. I use it as a second tv, bedroom and as a computer screen, Screen resolution just ok.
If you buy one . the off on button is extremely fragile, plan on using the remote to turn tv off and on.
I paid $280 plus taxes in 2001
