Any chance this would have bluetooth, so I can listen through my earbuds, rather than the speakers?

If you need 4, it would be cheaper to buy from Costco

Ordered one, still showing as in stock for me (for both shipping and pickup) and it says 75% of the deal has been claimed.

We currently have an older Sharp Roku tv that has live pause option (with a usb drive). Does this have that option? I've been wanting to update it as certain apps are getting very laggy but we still like to pause certain live broadcast shows.
i believe so, yes - as long as you are watching "over-the-air" TV (from coax cable input) and not "internet live" streaming

How does this compare? https://www.bjs.com/product/eleme...0005109261 for $179 but comes with 4 year coverage. Thank you.
unfavorably, if you will be streaming over internet - Roku has like 25,000 apps and Xumo 250 - that's 100x less.
if you won't be using the "smart" features of the TV but instead HDMI into another steaming device (apple tv, fire tv, roku) or cable/satellite - then it doesn't matter

Does that allow you to actually chromecast (without mirroring)? That would be great if so.
to Rokus, you can do AirPlay from Apple devices and Miracast from Windows (or Android if device has it)
they don't do Chromecast's "Google Cast"

Just hooked up the TV and worst experience ever with Roku. I bought it to run an IPTV but FYI for everyone else. Netflix won't even load to sign in, "encountered a problem". Hulu just reverts back to the Home screen & Prime keeps saying 'something went wrong"'. Live TV, lucky if 2 out of 10 channels work. Most just kick you back to the home screen. Hooked up my Shield and Prime, Hulu & Netflix work fine.Roku experience was horrible.
for any cheap TV, it may be a good idea to use it as "dumb TV only" - do not connect to internet after factory reset (even as it will be pushy, there's way to skip if you pay attention) and only use through HDMI inputs with STB box (like the nvidia shield)
in your case problem may been RokuOS (the firmware) and apps not having updated just yet - go to Settings > System > Software update > Check now. And after it is all done, conside restarting the TV for good measure. Not something that you will need to do regularly but try it given the hiccups you faced

Bought it yesterday and got it today. Hooked up and ran perfectly fine! Great deal! Thanks OP! I have another Hisense 65" that ran well for 3-4 years until the MainBoard failed. Bought a replacement board, installed, and all is new again since then. For $140, you can't beat the price for a simple 4K smart tv!

That's for the 55", not 50". Definitely a great deal though!

the way I see it is that basically, people are paranoid that updates are going to brick or loop-boot the TV. that's the place where the fear based comments and warnings are mostly coming from. and most people are getting this idea from what other people are saying, not from first person experience. it's basically the same way conspiracy theories persist and propagate through social media and eventually sort of become mainstream beliefs. with this particular Roku TV that this deal is about, you cannot control the updates because the TV has automatic software updates that can't be turned off or altered somehow to stop it. the only way to stop the automatic updates is to shut off your internet to the TV and then use one of the HDMI ports to connect an external streaming box to. but again, this is mostly just paranoia and social conditioning as why people are doing this because again, they are simply afraid of bricking the TV or it boot looping after an update. I think for the low price people should just enjoy the TV and not worry about stuff like this.

Just set mine up, once you crank down the brightness and backlight values, the picture isn't too bad. You're not going to confuse it with an OLED but it's completely watchable. Sound is, as expected, mediocre. UI speed was just as good as my standalone Rokus. Tried a couple of Netflix movies, worked as expected.

You can set it up to automatically switch to a specific input on power-on, so that makes it good to use as a monitor.
