Really tempted to buy this, but if you look at reviews, videos, or on forums

This airfryer has some HORRIBLE glass pane design with space in between with airholes at the top

Aka you can easily get condensation, food, grease stuck between the Window panes and there's no way to clean it. And I've seen numerous reviews where this is the major compliant.

Product seems good with a fantastic price, but with black Friday around the corner I'd rather get an airfryer that doesn't have a massive design flaw making it a PITA to clean

I bought the $40 costco Gourmia unit last month and its been great. I'm assuming this is basically the same underneath the exterior. At least the controls are the same. This one looks nicer on the outside though, wish I had this instead. The only thing the Costco unit had was a wire rack to make a "2nd floor" for the air fryer but honestly its kind of awkward to use.

The Costco one was also 8 quarts and had a window but it came with a wire rack that you can put inside to have two layers of frying. Also it was stainless steel and no options for colors. Not sure why it was never posted as a slick deal because a lot of people were commenting on other AF posts saying the costco deal is better. But I think the deal was for last month only, I think its $50 now.

As for getting another air fry contraption when you already have the Ninja? I can't really say. Does the Ninja crisp up frozen fries nicely in <10 minutes? If so, then its probably good enough. I have a toaster oven with a convection setting and can tell you it doesn't do the same job my air fryer does, but it has a very weak fan. If the Ninja's fan is more powerful, maybe it does just as good a job, or at least close enough, that you don't need both. Also gotta consider the real estate of another appliance on the counter.
Looks like the Costco model goes up to 450 degrees whereas this Walmart model only heats to 400 degrees. Not sure if that is worth paying a little more for. Also, the Costco model has cord storage on the back and there's nothing to indicate that feature on the Walmart model.

Thanks for the heads up. I did see complaints about that in Costco reviews.

FYI
Air fryers are simpler than you think, but still pretty neat -- Technology Connections; Nov 11, 2024; 19-min video -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6h9JhW-m35o

Air Fryers with windows are just dumb. I bought this one for my Mom. I told her not to worry about keeping the window clear as it will never happen.

It should work fine despite the window.

I was trying to find review for same model but couldn't find any reviews for exact model. Can you please share link that would be helpful?

Its very obvious by your response that you have no idea how much politics actually play in the FDA.
While I completely and quantitatively agree with your statement about FDA policy above, I'd also say your trite posts, lacking details, end up more trolling and doom-saying than productive. Perhaps you could provide a post more supportive of your assertion. If not, please note that a foil liner for the air fryer can perform double-duty as a foil hat, to keep "Them" from reading your thoughts.

Oh, and for everyone else, I bought the 8-quart unit at Costco ($40 but w/ rack), and am very happy w/ it so far. I haven't experienced any problem with window fogging/soiling, and really like the window and interior light. I also completely agree with previous poster about the power button being easily mistaken for the "Start" button, and with the presets times being annoying (but in no way a deal-breaker). If things don't immediately wipe clean, I just fill it w/ warm or hot water, maybe a little dish soap, and everything generally wipes right out.. At the price point, and build quality, of most air fryers, I consider them a consumable, and went for the ~$40 Gourmia versus the $299 Breville "Smart Oven Pro", as numerous reviews, and great SD posts show the Breville is no more reliable, and no longer even has a user-replaceable fan (part no longer sold), than these cheap units.

Anyone who has ordered this... Does yours make a loud sound when it's done cooking. I just received mine today and it does make one very soft beep. Can barely hear it over the sound of the air fryer if standing next to it. No way to hear it from another room.

Also there is a mute air fryer button. I click that and it beeps. Doesn't turn that light or no off. Doesn't seem to make a sound. Instruction booklet just says to tap the mute icon to silence the beeping sound. Maybe I just got a bad unit.

I use foil inside. I have no idea how people find time to clean these suckers
Foil is great. Just don't install it when the unit is pre-heating.

Oh I wish I saw that. I'm going to be on the lookout as I prefer the guarantee that Costco gives on it's products

Teflon cookware has been PFOA-free since 2013. PFOA was previously used to make Teflon and could leach harmful chemicals into food.
Today's nonstick and Teflon cookware is considered safe for everyday home cooking, as long as temperatures do not exceed 500°F. Teflon cookware is made from(PTF polytetrafluoroethylene E), which is inert and won't react with chemicals in or outside the body. The US FDA considers Teflon nonstick pans to be safe for food processing.
They are the same, slightly modified, forever chemical.

To follow up with myself, unless you are right next to the air fryer you will not hear it. The beeping noise is so soft and the fan keeps spinning. I will probably return it due to this.

I need an air fryer and this seems like a good deal but everytime ima bout to buy one i read the comments and realize the thing might give me cancer apparently
Is the food tray plastic on this one? I'm looking for a metal food tray air fryer. Some of the ones I've seen with metal trays are dual-duty toaster oven / air fryer and I've read they don't work as well because of some compromises they make to do dual duty.
