To continue the tradition, I might as well start the thread now.

Black Friday is a great time of the year... for the retailers to get rid of old overpriced stuff that no one wanted to buy during the year. Don't let them fool ya. Oh no!

So post here if you're disappointed with what you see and think that the deals suck this year. Just like they did last year, the year before that, the year before the year before ...

Man, I miss the Staples deals. I still have a framed receipt of some RAM I got delivered for $0.03.

no good deals at all they are all trash.
just get some food gift cards or something at least you can eat it.

everything getting more expensive with lower and lower utility even.
its like they lowered productivity to spike prices and charge more for less or inflation oops.

Not only not a lot of deals, doesn't even seem like there are that many ADS yet. BF is tomorrow, the ad scan thread is pretty empty. Is BF just not a thing anymore?

This website being willing to post ads before they're officially published is the primary reason…. Very corporate owned now, but weirdly beholding to -other- corporations that do not own it.

Even outside of this website, there are very few deals or discounts. Retailers are apparently having no issue getting people to buy crap they don't need, so there's no incentive for them to offer steep discounts.

Order items from Walmart and Best Buy and get them in 1-2 days. Order items from Amazon and it says they'll arrive mid-late January, then it gets updated to mid-late December. Amazon truly is the worst.

Amazon sucks, they mistreat employees and they're the new evil monopoly. FTC should investigate and break them up.

With the move to a month long thing its impossible for me to tell what is and isn't a BF deal anymore and even less possible to tell what is and isn't a good price. It used to be so much easier to prepare because things didn't start until 9 pm pacific thanksgiving.

I could swear it was "Staples is suck". But I recently learned that forgetting noums is a common thing as we age. So I can't tell anything for sure anymore.

Besides, Buycomp (Buy.com) was suck as well. I was one of the Wounded Monitor Children and I can attest to that suckitude :-)
