Pro 2 has an App, Paddles, and a System pair switcher over the Pro+.

Pretty minor upgrades for me; doesn't seem worth it to upgrade if you already have the Pro+. Great controller otherwise.

The Pro 2 is a very good controller if you're looking for something for retro gaming. If I didn't already own two I would grab one for this price.

Yay thank you. I was waiting for this to go on sale. I also got an offer for a month of free Discord. Though it's not clear if this the ALPs model or the Hall Effect model.

Although the description doesn't state this, the mention from other buyers say it has ALPS joysticks if that matters to you.

For what it's worth, ALPS version has replaceable batteries whereas Hall Effect is a built in rechargeable. To some, having our own rechargeables makes that a very desirable feature. I have the original Pro 2 and have been hesitant to get the newer version specifically because a few years from now, battery life will be worse and improving it will likely require a whole new device (unless 8bitdo starts selling replacements).

I've been curious whether the original's sticks are replaceable/upgradable. Haven't had the motivation to look though since my controllers are still perfectly acceptable
