I haven't tried ordering, but mine is showing a $14 savings with Capital One cash-back, but you can likely get a better cash back deal on another card.

I bought these when they came out for $229... Awesome Amazon doesn't price adjust. Anyway I like them a lot more than my old Samsung Galaxy buds pro 2 I was running with an S20. I am running the new pixel buds pro2 with the pixel 9 pro. I barely use them for phone calls but the mic seems to work fine, at least no complaints from people. I use them primarily when working out and they have great battery life and are light to the point I can barely feel them. When I put them in my ears and twist the new fin makes them fit snug and seals. They also work well with Gemini if that's your thing. At first they had horrible connectivity problems but but a recent patch fixed all that and have been super reliable for me since. I would recommend if you are looking at premium buds. For over the ear (inside/work) I stick with my Sony WH-1000XM
If you are eligible on ID.me (ex. hospital employee, etc)....they give you a 10% coupon which stacks on all Google Store prices. https://shop.id.me/stores/12669-google-storeStarts getting closer to making this slick.
No it doesn't. ID.me and other targeted promo codes only work on retail pricing. In this case, the 10% off reverts the price back to 229 and then 22.90 is taken off. Not worth it.
I tried, have tried in the past, and never worked. Those early adopters of Pixel who got 200 off....now THAT stacks because it was credit and not a promo code.

Sorry but at least on my order yesterday, this is incorrect.
I got the buds for $156.10 plus tax on my Google Store order.....I also bought the Pixel 9 and it applied in the same manner.

You must have had some credit and that got automatically applied to your order
This is the math
229--50 = 179 plus tax (and any credit you have )
OR
229 -- any promo code and that's what you get.
If you're a Play Store Gold points member or such, I am not aware of any special privileges. I subscribe to 2TB storage, so I have 10% Cashback but that's not the same as outright discount stacked.
How you got 156, I am curious. A screenshot would help me out to stack.....

screenshot is attached in my post above. I have no Play Store status FWIW. The only code I applied was the 10% ID.me.
It sure appears to me I got 10% of the $229 (and $799) list prices....and then subsequently the $50 off for the buds sale price (and $150 off for the phone sale price).
$150+$50 ($200) sale prices plus 10% of the $1,028 (or $102.80) = $302.80 total discount.
