The small amount of storage space on these premium Pixel phones from Google is just silly. I know they do it to push their cloud storage products... but come on. It's almost 2025, 256GB should be the minimum offering for a premium phone.

I have never once come even close to running out of space on a 128 GB phone.
Decent sale, would be better with the higher trade-in values from launch.
Holding off on sales for the 9 Pro for the extra telephoto camera and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Edit: turns out they both have ultrasonic readers! GSMArena was showing optical around launch time

While I do personally agree 256 should be the modern standard, I think it's worth keeping in mind that pretty much every phone manufacturer has 128 as the lowest. Whether it be Samsung, Apple, Nothing, or One Plus, this isn't a Google specific thing.

I have 128 GB with 34.95 GB free, that is with all the cloud stuff turned off
if you need and want to spend another $100-$200 for storage, then you go for it.

Which of those manufactures don't have SD card slots?
Apple and Google, who both make money charging for cloud storage. Apple in particular is wildly egregious about it.
Samsung, Nothing, and One Plus all have models with SD card slots.
