There are too many chemicals in those reusable containers, especially if you're using them to reheat your meal
They usually cost more than a new container, but I've started switching over to silicone lids and am very happy with them. I wish Pyrex would switch to silicone lids.
where do you get the silicone lids? i have stacks of Pyrex containers but most of the lids are missing in action. i don't even know where they went. i swear container lids are like socks--they just vanish

For lids, refer to Loudmouth's post: https://slickdeals.net/f/17873448-22-piece-pyrex-glass-food-storage-set-25-49-free-shipping?src=category_page

Just search for "Pyrex silicone lids" on Amazon. The ones I have for round containers are "Luvcosy" brand with the flower shape on top, but they do not have the name brand on them anywhere. They are thick, heavy and floppy. They've held up for a year so far and that is with running them through the dishwasher on a regular basis. I just started using "Sophico" brand ice cream containers with silicone lids. I see they also sell lids for the Pyrex containers. I can't comment on durability as I'm on my first tub of ice cream and the pyrex lids appear to be much thicker. They should be fine.

If you have to buy food storage instead of simply reusing perfectly fine storage that comes with prepackaged food, you are not a slickdealer.

Kohls listing a 5 piece as a 10 piece is laughable, counting the lids as separate is a joke, like cmon, you're only really getting 5 things here...

This is how virtually all food containers are advertised. Not a kohls things.

Are you really a SDer if you sacrifice your health to expose yourself to PFAS? Which costs you more in the long run.
