If this were the M3, I'd consider it at this price. Upgrading from a 2020 MBA M1. I'd appreciate the upgrade chassis and RAM, but the M2 is already two generations behind.

Very nice deal.Thanks OP.I bought it from BB a couple of days ago. Asking a price match and they approved. Plus, paying with Palpay, I think there should be 5% Chase cash back plus 5% Paypal cash back. Not 100% sure if I could receive them.

I paid $850 for the M3 8gb at Costco in August. Would they accept a return still for me to buy this M2 16gb at $750? I just want whichever is a faster laptop that would last at least 5 years. Should I keep my current one? New to Costco this year and this is my first major purchase with them so I don't know how they operate in terms of rules and policies. This is also my first Apple product and so far the macbook air has been great!

depends august what, since electronics is 90 days. so August 8 and later, the answer is yes. otherwise no.

They said they won't match prices for Costco members, which...I mean look at this thread, clearly they do. I'm off to dinner, I'll try again when I get back.

EDIT: Second time was the charm. This is a really good deal for the money (long as you're fine with 256gb of storage); I'd been thinking about getting a Pro instead but it's really hard to justify spending twice the money that this Air cost.
