I pulled the trigger on that deal even though I didn't really need it. But… I'm happy I did. I don't know if it's just that new bike motivation, but so far it hasn't disappointed.

I'm hoping some time in the near future Lynskey builds a titanium gravel frame around the SRAM Red XPLR groupset. It sounds like my ideal gravel build but I'm sure it'll cost a pretty penny and be a long time before they put it on any kind of sale.

I wish I would've bit on the 45% deal too. I ended up getting a State Ti, Fork, and Headset for under $1100 on their Halloween sale. Just another option to look at.

What are the "bonus free add ons" from the email?
They seem to be what you just mentioned, the mill finish is a different finish on the titanium than stock and usually costs money. The stock badge on the front tube is usually red, so the brass is also an upgrade. I thought black was the standard color for decals though, so I'm not sure that's an upgrade.

What width tires did you put on? Looking to see the real world width. The site says 700x45c or 650b x 2.1".

Ti lasts forever. With carbon every crash you have to be concerned if the frame is now unrideable. I have both and appreciate the durability of Ti.
