"Difference Between UL and ETL Listing -
None. Aside from the body that issues the listing, there is absolutely no difference between a UL listing and an ETL listing.

Because Intertek ETL tests products to previously published UL Standards for Safety, products marked as ETL Listed meet exactly the same criteria as those marked UL Listed or UL Recognized.

At Triad, you will find products with UL listings and with ETL listings, and now you know — they are exactly the same."

Grabbed a few of these last time they were on sale. Seems similar quality to old APC SurgeArrest outlet extenders with a better form factor and stronger surge protection. The plugs are secure and quality seems fine so no real concern with the no-name drop shipper brand at this price.

The swivel is a bit of a gimmick and tough to rotate without being plugged in, but it does work and comes in handy behind furniture where you need to keep things concealed.

The LED is indeed quite bright and you might want to tape over it if you put one next to your bed.

Too funny, my Belkin one is sitting next to me now, found it yesterday after it was in a suitcase that I hadn't used in years. One problem though is it makes a high pitched whining noise when plugged in so annoying if it's close to you, not sure if these ones do that too or not.
Oh man, I hate when electronics do that. My TV does occasionally and it's very noticable

It's a Sony isn't it? I have a Sony TV that does that and I have no idea why.

Nah, LG OLED. I am very sensitive to hearing those kinds of noises though. I don't think my wife can hear it

Interesting, I have an LG OLED also, watching it right now in fact and never had an issue. The Sony always makes noises when it's off.
