There no real "mac" version. The "mac" version is worse value, it doesnt include the USB receiver. All logitech keyboards/mouse support bluetooth and now bolt receivers. You want the bolt receiver especially if you have a monitor with USB hub, set up the keyboard/mouse once and it works with any laptop you plug into it vs switching bluetooth pairing. Just one less step. Just install the Logi+ app and setup scrolling correctly (reverse like windows style vs touchpad style). I have like 3 sets of MX keys/MX mice around the house, they all work normally with Mac or Windows machines.

OP, I think you meant to say "Adobe Creative Cloud and Code Academy." For everyone else, it takes $40 off when you add one trial and another $20 when you add the second.

Does work for this combo but not the Mac version. Probably isn't supposed to discount like this?

Seems like a great price. Even cheaper than Best Buy with the recycling offer.

Clarification, bolt is not universal on Logitech. It's not backward compatible just as S models won't work with non bolt receivers.

One less step, but one more port used. I'd prefer Bluetooth regardless but yes, you do get a dongle.

There is a slight key difference with backspace and delete and another key I think. But otherwise like you said they are lesser because they come with no reciever
