I'd stay far away from this newer version of the tooth paste, the older formula was so much better, and still is one of the best toothpastes I have tried out. I now purchase these from Europe where they sell some of the older forumula ones, but even those have had some changes made.

parodontax is good if you have bleeding gums but I prefer biorepair or sensodyne (novamin formula)

Aside from parodontax, biorepair, sensodyne (with novamin) most toothpastes are all the same and do not actually help your teeth as much as they claim

Apagard royal/premio vs sensydyne novamin?

I'm not a dentist. I have no medical background whatsoever.

Anecdotally, when I switched to this a couple years ago, my dentist asked me at my first cleaning - a month after the switch - what I was doing differently, because my gums were much healthier than they had been in years.

I've been using it ever since, and I've noticed that my sensitivity is all but gone and I went from a horror show when I rinse and spit during cleanings to things looking the way they should.

So maybe this stuff isn't necessary if your oral health is fine. But if you're in rough shape, I'd recommend trying it.

Apagard royal/premio has NHA (nano hydroxyapatite) which is what the body produces, novamin is the man-made version of NHA. Studies have shown that they both have the same effect. Apagard is the gold standard for it but double the cost of what sensodyne novamin costs

Do you have a link to the "older forumula ones"?

Sorry, I was signed out for some reason and never saw these messages, I tried a bunch of them, the herbal forumal, original and the whitening one. To give more information, the original European one used to have these ingredients and the new ones don't: Sodium Bicarbonate, Aqua, Glycerin, Hydrated Silica, Alcohol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Mentha Piperita Oil, Mentha Arvensis Oil, Krameria Triandra Extract, Echinacea Purpurea Flower/Leaf/Stem Juice, Chamomila Recutita Extract, Salvia Officinalis Oil, Commiphora Myrrha Extract, Alcohol Denat., Xanthan Gum, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Fluoride, Sodium Saccharin, Sodium Benzoate, Limonene, Linalool.

What's the differences
The old one used to have all these ingredients which made it special. The 1st one listed below is the best

These are the original ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Aqua, Glycerin, Alcohol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Mentha Arvensis Oil, Mentha Piperita Oil, Xanthan Gum, Echinacea Purpurea Flower/Leaf/Steam Juice, Krameria Triandra Extract, Aroma, Sodium Fluoride, Chamomila Recutita Extract, Salvia Officinalis Oil, Commiphora Myrrha Extract, Sodium Saccharin, Limonene, Linalool, CI 77491

Then the second forumal contained these: Sodium Bicarbonate, Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Aroma, Xanthan Gum, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Fluoride, Sodium Saccharin, Titanium Dioxide, Steviol Glycosides, Limone, CI 77491.

Now the newest formula containes these: Stannous Fluoride 0.454 (0.15% w/v Fluoride Ion)...Anticavity, Antigingivitis Inactive Ingredients Glycerin, PEG-8, Hydrated Silica, Pentasodium Triphosphate, Flavor, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Titanium Dioxide, Polyacrylic Acid, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Saccharin.

I had been ordering these from Europe. Here's a link to the British Store and a Portugese store. This is the intermediate formula as I believe the original formula isn't available anymore.
