thank you OP! I sold my Fender Stratocaster from Mexico in Sunburst (which was a gift) way back when I was 15 and have regretted it ever since. For a made in USA Strat this is a crazy good deal especially considering the finish, pickups and my preferred neck color. I really don't know who Juanes is but I think this is a great investment at this price for a USA Stratocaster

Must be! I visited Medellin and never heard his music (I don't think!). I was watching a video about the guitar and apparently he takes lessons from Tomo Fujita and sent him one of these guitars https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=601PvqLAO6Y . It is impressive at least that successful musicians still try to improve with lessons.

Ex MIRC employee here. These will be NEW guitars. Demand is low and production chain is strong, storing these in warehouses gets more expensive than rotating inventory after a while. So fender liquidates them through 3rd parties as mint. The first to go are usually lowest demanded artist signature guitars like this and the Cory Wong a couple of months ago. Congrats to everyone that got one, you scored!

Yes, every instrument is different, but 900 on these strats is a hair over cost. Most people don't buy at MSRP, this allows dealers to cut deals at 10-20% off in regular cases and to have sales occasionally.

got a "shipping label notice" today. Still crossing my fingers there are no problems...like they run out of inventory before they start packing my order.
