I subscribed to this a couple weeks ago, when they were offering $50 for the membership with a free $20 bag of candy.

We tried the same day delivery and I didn't realize that they used Shipt. It's like other side gig service in that they don't pay the drivers a decent wage/travel costs -- and instead ask you to pay a large tip in order to compensate. While my time is valuable, I was basically adding 20% or more per delivery in a tip, which is going to make the overall cost of the membership for more than $50 over a year. I think I would only use it for emergency circumstances now. Otherwise I'll just use the free Circle drive up.

If you have verified with Target as active military or a veteran, this stacks with another Target offer for $50 back in rewards on an annual membership.

So a $50 membership purchase nets you a $50 off $50 coupon and $50 in rewards. Even better, the storewide 10% off coupons for military are still valid through tomorrow and can be combined with both the coupon and rewards.

For anyone wondering the $50 reward is valid for one year and the $50 coupon is valid 11/10-12/7.

is this dead? I just signed up for the Target 360 deal - not seeing the $50 off a same day purchase anywhere. It's been about 10 mins since I signed up + I've tried logging out and back in, etc. Where are you all seeing this?
If you're on the desktop site, click on your account icon in the top right of the home page. From the menu that appears, select Target Circle (it should also say how many Target Circle bonus offers you have). That will bring you to your Target Circle offers page and it should look something like this (see attached screenshot).

This is not a great deal in California. There's a mandatory state fee of $4 or $5 I forget for each order. You'll probably need to tip on top of that similar to Uber Eats. The drivers actually go into the store to shop, so you'll need to tip bigger than just a food delivery person.

At the end of the day, Walmart+ is much better deal. Unless, of course, Target is your only option.
Thanks for the heads up. You'll get shoppers on some of your orders with Walmart+ so tipping is expected and given but don't want to pay the surcharge a lot of the food delivery companies added in California and like you said Walmart doesn't charge you those fees

My $50 off $50 disappeared in the last 10 minutes. I signed up tonight, it was showing as a promise in cart, I paid for the membership, it showed that I had received the 50 off 50, and now it's just gone. Good thing I took screenshots.

Edited to add: Once I had the 50+ in cart, and selected same-day/tomorrow morning delivery, the $50 off $50 was reflected in the total.

I do tip for Walmart+ for sure, but as far as I know, I think the contractors just pick up the grocery bags from the pick up area. They don't physically walk down the frozen aisle for my fries. Haha

Perhaps some do, but haven't seen anyone do that's in my past 100+ deliveries. 🚚. My groceries are pretty much ready/bagged hours before delivery time.

Exact same thing with Walmart plus, guilt tripped into adding a large tip

Tipping is such a scam.. everyone wants the consumer to cover for the labor cost while the big companies pocket the profits

is this for free grocery delivery? how does it work, is it something where...

A. a random person (like someone sitting at home gets an alert and decides take the job). goes to target picks the items by hand and then puts it into their personal car and delivers it to me

B. or is it like amazon fresh where amazon itself does the shopping and puts it into sealed bags, and a random-ish amazon fresh worker delivers it,

C. or is it like stop & shop delivery where stop & shop does the shopping and a stop and shop employee delivers it in a big refriderated truck?

or something else?

EDIT: looks like the answer is A (correct me if im wrong?), but leaving this up if anyone can suggest grocery delivery services that are NOT like A (B, or C or anything else is what I want). I think Amazon Fresh is like B, and have no idea what Walmart is like.

which grocery delivery service has the least tipping expectation.

i feel like the more random a person it is (some guy sitting on their couch who decides to take a gig) + the more interaction i have (they can text me as they do their shopping) = the more tipping expectation they have, trying to find a grocery service with the least expectation. (i still tip though).

with amazon fresh it comes in these sealed thick paper bags, so i assume the fresh driver just picks them up and dumps them on my doorstep, which I like.

deliverers earn less than minimum wages. If ppl pay tip for servers, why dont they pay tipa for those who actually go to shop and bring it to your door!?!

Not sure if it's any different via 360 but I've found that Target Delivery has the least reliable and least informative tracking.

Because they aren't paying Applebees an annual service fee on top of the price off food and the tip.

Got membership yesterday and first delivery, and now I can't even surf the app without leaving feedback, and the recommended tip amount is $35 for delivery. I think they have to take care of their drivers like amazon Prime(have membership too and never deal with tips for delivery)

If Walmart and Target would offer these annual subscriptions without us having to pay tips, I'd be all over them but I can go to the stores myself and save 5-10.00.

These would be beneficial to those home-bound.

I see the membership for $49 but I dont see the $50 off $50. is the $50 off $50 like very noticeable? So if I dont see it, likely I dont have this deal right? Is not like is "hidden" somehow or shows up after I am about to check out?
