Definitely doesn't sound like a Walmart, Goodyear, or Kumho problem. Sounds like you just need to go buy yourself some new rims or a new car. There's No way 2 different sets of tires, from two different manufacturers are leaking the same way. If they're aluminum alloy wheels that have some type of clearcoat, sometimes the clear breaks down where the tire bead seats and can cause very slow leaks, cast aluminum wheels can also just become porous over time. If they're Steel wheels, they could be rusting through. You could also have leaking valve stems/tpms. And then you also have the obvious psi drop when the weather gets colder. My suggestion is to pull off the rim and tire that loses pressure the quickest, fill up your bathtub and submerge the rim and tire under the water to see where the air bubbles are coming from. I can just about guarantee the leaks aren't the tires fault unless you've run over some type of foreign object.
This is around how these tires are always priced. Some may be very slightly below typical but the list prices on the ones showing a 50%+ strikethrough discount are a joke. I've had 215/50R17 in my cart for nearly a month and the price hasn't changed.

That being said, based on my research when looking for a new set of tires for my old beater these seem like a good budget tire, especially if you live somewhere it doesn't snow.

Walmart has excellent prices on tires shipped to your house. I usually have discount tire install those tires because they back up their installation. Walmart is a joke and usually a pain to deal with. Put in your tire size in the Walmart search bar, you'll be surprised some of the deals you can get on their tires. Read the reviews because not all Chinese made tires are garbage. You will pay a premium for Japanese and US made, and I've had some Cooper tires that didn't hold up as well as some India made tires.
or just price match, thats what i would like to do

Got my tires yesterday but had to drive across the bridge in the rain about 20 miles. While getting on the bridge I heard what sounding like a rock hitting my wheel well. All seemed fine until I got to about 60mph and then I started to feel a small vibration in the steering wheel. Seems like the wheel balance is off. I just checked and no appointments for two weeks. It's not a big deal but such a hassle to go back especially in the middle of the holidays. I may just go to the nearby Americas Tire to rebalance and not have to wait. 😡

Also, my tires had a DOT 2223 (22nd week of 2023) and are made in Vietnam. They drive just fine other than the vibration from the balancing.
All good now after going to America's Tire for rebalancing. Nice that America's Tire did it for free even though I didn't buy the tires there.

Can anyone who has bought these share how old they were when they got them? age is indicated on each tire's sidewall, concerned about getting old tire inventory as tires only last 10 years at most just sitting around

The Walmart "Kumho LX Platinum KU27" is indeed THE EXACT SAME TIRE as the "Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum (KU27)", as indicated by:

1) The model number "KU27", used on both Walmart and TireRack.com product description, and/or

2) The identical tread pattern clearly visible on product listing photos on both Walmart and TireRack.com (the biggest source of ratings and tests I found for this tire), and/or

3) The identical text with stylized fonts "Ecsta LX Platinum" molded into sidewall on product listing photos (different photos used) on both Walmart and TireRack (just zoom in to see), and/or

4) Kuhmo's current product page showing the Ecsta LX Platinum KU27 is now a Walmart EXCLUSIVE model (also lists all available sizes with specs and diagrams tire construction):
https://www.kumhotire.com/us/glob...ditem=4084

- Here's a DETAILED TIRE COMPARISON TEST REPORT BY TIRERACK from 2017 comparing Ecsta LX Platinum KU27 to well-regarded General Tire Altimax AT43 (highly-rated in Consumer Reports, now replaced by AT45) and two other models:

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/te...p?ttid=227

- Here's TireRack's Ecsta LX Platinum (KU27) product listing page with over 1,200 user reviews available:

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/ku...x-platinum

- Apparently Ecsta LX Platinum KU27 is an "old" design (over 10 to 15+ years old), but I'm not sure how much tire design in its category has really changed during that time.

- Google search shows TireRack's price for Ecsta LX Platinum KU27 was between $120-145 (obviously don't know how recent/accurate that is or what discounts aren't accounted for).

- Detailed, older (2011) user review of Ecsta LX Platinum vs. Continental DWS:
