Definitely doesn't sound like a Walmart, Goodyear, or Kumho problem. Sounds like you just need to go buy yourself some new rims or a new car. There's No way 2 different sets of tires, from two different manufacturers are leaking the same way. If they're aluminum alloy wheels that have some type of clearcoat, sometimes the clear breaks down where the tire bead seats and can cause very slow leaks, cast aluminum wheels can also just become porous over time. If they're Steel wheels, they could be rusting through. You could also have leaking valve stems/tpms. And then you also have the obvious psi drop when the weather gets colder. My suggestion is to pull off the rim and tire that loses pressure the quickest, fill up your bathtub and submerge the rim and tire under the water to see where the air bubbles are coming from. I can just about guarantee the leaks aren't the tires fault unless you've run over some type of foreign object.

This is around how these tires are always priced. Some may be very slightly below typical but the list prices on the ones showing a 50%+ strikethrough discount are a joke. I've had 215/50R17 in my cart for nearly a month and the price hasn't changed.

That being said, based on my research when looking for a new set of tires for my old beater these seem like a good budget tire, especially if you live somewhere it doesn't snow.

Anyone come across 245/45R19 on sale? I can never find that size on sale.
Tire rack has some decent close outs right now in that size anywhere from $115 to $150 ea. don't think that includes shipping though.

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSearchResults.jsp?zip-code=48116&width=245/&ratio=45&diameter=19&... [tirerack.com]

Or if you don't mind your speedometer being about 2mph off at 70mph (you'll actually be going 68mph) you could go for the slightly lower profile 245/40r19 from this deal for $106 a tire. A 245/45r19 is about 27.7" in diameter and has about 728 revolutions per mile, the slightly lower 245/40r-19 is 26.7" In diameter and has about 755 revolutions per mile. So that's about a 3.7% difference. The bummer about dropping down in diameter for a 3.7% difference, is that your odometer will add 37 phantom miles for every 1000 you travel.

Just got these installed yesterday. So far they're decent.
Wait a year and 10-20,000 miles.
They've never held up for me.

How is the warranty on either?
I had a Bridgestone replaced under warranty (prorated) at around 15,000 miles.

I bought these in 2023 for $82 a piece for my 17" rims for doing Uber. These are excellent tires just as quiet as the OEM tires and it's been 35k miles now and they still have 6/10 tread left. Still super quiet on the highway. Definitely a good deal. I think these are exclusive to Walmart due to some tread wear or spec I remember being different. I may be mistaken but under $400 mounted is a win for my book. I broke when after 25k miles compared to the name brands so anything beyond is just great. This isn't my Miata where I'm taking aggressive turns, I'm just driving like a normal person so I'm probably not testing the limits of these tires.

This vs the Goodyear reliant?

Seems like in Europe tire shops consider these top rated, and they are factory tires for a lot of Japanese and European compacts in Europe as well

But I am conflicted. The goodyears for lower than the price of douglas is tempting too

The Walmart website does not indicate any tread warranty for these.

Under the "Product Details" section on Walmart. Their UTQG treadwear rating is 500 which also confirms 50k expected life of a tread.

Expected treadwear is not the same as a warranty.

I did not say it's the same. According to Walmart the warranty is 50k mi. And treadwear rating also confirms that. Goodyear Reliant has 65k warranty which might be a better deal for some.
