I think this isn't a bad price for a docked, sffpc. Handheld mode isn't great.

What's wrong with handheld mode on the Claw? And yes, I know the Claw reviews have been lackluster (at best) compared to pretty much every other companies' offering. I just had not seen this handheld comment before.

Side note: if you were only planning on running docked, to me a gaming laptop seems like it would be a better route as it is almost as portable but should get you a better performance:$ ratio plus....is still a laptop so maintains use outside of gaming. What's the point of buying gaming handheld if you aren't playing on using it handheld

For 100 more you can get the HP victus, if a laptop is needed.

This might not be bad if it's $200-250.

yes..that is excellent insight. anything that is 70% off regular price would not be bad.

How is this compared to a Steam Deck?

Every major review of the handheld says its Trash so even at this $399 price I would not get it. Its slower than a steam deck to show how bad it is and put it into perspective. I would wait for an open box or another good deal on an Rog Ally anyday of the week over this.

Two different operating systems and the steam deck has two track pads

The performance on this is laughable at best. No other handheld is as slow as this at this price point. $250 would be the only way I'd even consider it.

For emulation it is pretty good.... As are all the others

It's only better at PS3 emu than the STEAMDECK and the 6 core Rog Ally which is also worth $300 at best
