How is the build quality on these? Debating between this or a Thinkpad.

Side-by-side this looks a lot similar to the build of the [Stealth AI Studio 16" 2024 A1V] which uses magnesium-aluminum & plastic, and also uses the same Cooler Boost 5 design.

There has been a few reports on overheating or high temps. This review talks about it for the Stealth variant: https://laptopmedia.com/review/ms...erheating/

There might be some inconsistencies with Woot's posting. It states the model is A1VIG and according to MSI's website that is the 4090 variant, but Woot's posting says it has a 4080 though and that would normally be the A1VHG model.
The MSI site also states this comes with WIFI 7, but the Woot posting says WIFI 6 (AX)

Directly from MSI's store site, it's listed as A1VHG. The specs on the MSI store site match the MSI product page so those are probably correct specs.
