I have a question. Is it actually a good idea to buy an airline gc? This means I have to buy on the airline's website while other places may offer better prices on the tickets. Right? (Also I won't get any travel points on my cc)

I always pay at least a portion of the flight with my CSR so I get all the delay and baggage protections.

Southwest does not participate on any of the travel websites , there are some routes SW usually is cheaper , it works better if you know your plans well in advance , if you travel between SW hubs SW HAS lot more frequency , so LV - LAx , LV - PHX , PHY lot more option on time to fly.
