  • The default version with no SD card still has 128gb of internal storage for you to install games. If you don't want to source your own games, opt for the version that includes the 128gb SD card which will come with games preloaded on it.

RG556 is also $132 after the same promo code. That seems like a pretty good deal. It's the same guts as this device but is horizontal with a 5.5" 16:9 OLED display and stacked shoulder buttons.
Could you please share the link where this works? I would love to get the RG556 at this price.. thanks! i only see the 169 - 25 = 145

Does anyone know if there is a ps2 compatibility list?
The Retroid Pocket 5 that just came out does all PS2, GC games at 2x resolution with no issues. It costs about $200. Worth it.

Price went up since I posted. It was $157 - $25 at that time.

NVM it looks like they have two listings for the RG556, one with free shipping and one with paid shipping. The $157 was with paid shipping on top. It's $169 with free shipping.

PS2 emulation on Android halted development

Regardless of power, some games are never going to run fine on the current emulators

For that price you might as well look for a used Rog Ally. They go for around $250 now on Facebook Marketplace and can emulate and play AAA games.

Such a stacked handheld, if only they didn't fk up the analog sticks so hard.

I checked on a different account and the one I bought it on, it's still $139.

Used ROG Ally: Windows PC, 7" IPS screen, 1-2 hours battery life.

New RP5: Android/Linux, 6" OLED screen, 6-8 hours battery life.

Power output is adjustable on the Ally. Most emulators do not need a lot of power to run most games. I can easily run my Ally for 3-4 hours playing most games. I also have the Legion Go and can run around the same hours while emulating.

That's still about half the battery life of RP5. Playing non-AAA games. And you'd be rolling the dice on buying a used unit.
