A lot of the bad reviews are from people that didn't receive the product. If you subtract those, there is still plenty that claim the mopping part is terrible. Does anyone have the submarine and can comment how they like this product?

I actually have had this myself for about a month now. The mopping part has been pretty great for me. It's very quick and easy to get going and to clean up afterwards. Im able to mop about 700 sqft of hard floors before needing to refill the tank. I almost never mopped previous to getting the submarine because it was such a hassle. I bought the bissell cross wave to make it easier, that was so much work to clean and prep and the cord was terrible. Then I switched to just a swiffer wetjet thinking the ease of use would make me mop more but it left streaks everywhere, the floor never felt or looked clean. I've mopped multiple times already with the submarine. It doesn't leave streaks, it surprisingly has a pretty strong scrubbing pull, and the floor dries really quickly. I strongly recommend it. Note that you do have to vacuum before use, a lot of people think the submarine attachment vacuums and mops but it doesn't, it only mops. I will also say I have a hypoallergenic dog but no kids, so my house never gets absolutely filthy. Dyson also has their extended holiday return period active right now, so from what I understand, you've got until Dec 25 to return it if you don't like it as well as a 30d price match guarantee. Although I've never seen the price this low outside of the random Home Depot deal from many months ago that lasted what felt like a few minutes.
