•$143 is a (non mistake) all-time low on these
•90 Day Returns/1-Year Warranty through Bose (should get you through Black Friday deals easily)
•Multiple color options & includes normal hard case (unlike Costco variant)
FWIW the QC45 SE used to hit $179 at Costco and people would gobble them up, and people have been feasting on the QC's at $199 lately.
For comparison to other headphones:
•This deal beats the pants off of Beats Studio Pros at $169 because QCs are a better-made, more comfortable headset. Case footprint is about the same for these overall. Sound is comparable - EQ here lets you do your thing. They just don't have all the Apple bells and whistles (which are honestly very minimal), but they do offer multi-device support (unlike Beats which just offer device swapping)
•These aren't quite as good as the XM4s for sound. But you're probably looking at $199 on those this BF (again, those hit ~$130 a month or so ago on an apparent *price mistake* so I doubt it happens. Maybe $179 if we're lucky). These fold up smaller.
•Obviously not an Airpods Max competitor. That being said... EQ gets you in the ballpark of enjoyable listening. Less instrument separation, less sub-bass, less "richness," but these headphones are aiming to sound similar (unlike the XM4s which lean in a rich, warm, bass-heavy direction). And they're waaayyyy way cheaper (Think of it this way: You can get the Bose QCs here plus a set of AirPod Pros 2 for less than the Maxes).

Anywhos…
This is only with the soft case as pictured I presume?
You can sometime buy hard cases on eBay for $15 I think but just want to see if anyone ever bother the refurb and only came with soft case or if they included the regular hard cases? (Like why would they keep hard cases from a return? )
